We have crossed the Channel whilst on the flybridge, and love the option of changing to the helm in the saloon if it gets a bit wet or cold. Having the galley in the saloon area and being able to open the sliding doors to the cockpit area means comfortable entertaining in port for up to 10 or so people, come rain or shine.
Twin shaft drive diesels makes Nauti Buoy relatively economical, provides a level of safety should power be lost on one engine (has never happened to us thankfully), and extremely manoeuvrable in confined spaces
